Northern Ireland Articles
Dating Northern Ireland Pub Reviews. We
will be adding as many venus as possible
for you to take that special someone on
that first date or next date. We try and
take a complete mix so that all tastes are
catered for and all budgets. More pubs will
be added on a regular basis so please keep
coming back to see more info.
The Apartment
Chic, luxurious and costly, this trendy
bar is just the ticket for a date who insists
on calling her one bedroom flat an apartment.
The glass front overlooking the magnificent
City Hall allows you to watch Belfast buzz
by. Although it's not the best setting to
ensure all attention's on you, the view
is extremely romantic at night. The cocktails
are exquisite and the food is great, but
do be wary of the waiters who never write
anything down
fine if they get the
order right but in my experience that's
not always the case!

Café Vaudeville
One of the centre's newest additions, this
Titanic-esque bar already reeks of Belfast's
elite. Think chandeliers, VIP areas and
boudoirs. If you're not the elaborate kind
then I would suggest you stay well clear.
However if this sounds right up your alley
and you want to make an impression on your
date, a £60 bottle of Moet & Chandon
would go down a treat. Alternatively you
could stick to a Corona with lime and sit
near the VIP entrance, laughing at the multitude
of people who try to get up but are politely
declined. Hours of fun

Whites Tavern
This cosy little haunt is Belfast's oldest
pub and is the perfect location for a Saturday
afternoon bite to eat with a pint of Guinness.
The menu is simple but delicious and not
too pricey. Upstairs in the tavern is the
'happening' place for twenty-somethings
on a Friday night at the minute, despite
the fact that it feels like you're in your
granny's living room! It must be us friendly
Northern Irish folk who love the feeling
of home. Use it to your advantage by suggesting
a cuddle on the sofa with your date and
see where the night takes you

Katy Daly's
Situated a stone's throw away from the
notorious hooker streets of Belfast (which
only adds to the intrigue), this delightful
little pub is ideal for those trainer and
jeans types. There's a bottle of wine for
a fiver to wash down that third packet of
Bacon Fries, and a juke box to put on your
date's favourite song (ask online in advance
and you're guaranteed a brownie point!)
Think The Pixies and The Smiths, with a
bit of Madonna thrown in for good measure.

The Northern Whig
The way to a man's heart may be through
his stomach, but the route to a woman's
is a tad more complicated. A few cocktails
from this stylish bar will certainly help
along the way. From the classic Pina Colada
to the spiced rum Archangel, a journey through
the cocktail list is guaranteed to be an
eventful and rewarding one. The bar's plush
furniture will add grandeur to the evening
and the impressive war statues will create
a talking point if conversation dries up!
